Lara Ellery is a Master's candidate in International Law under the supervision of Professor Catherine Régis. Highly interested in international health law, her thesis is on the international legal framework and its application on drug policies in Canada and Brazil.
Graduate of Université de Montréal in International Studies and with a specialization in public health at the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, she pursued her career in international organizations. As for an example, she worked for two years at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Brazil with projects related to health and development. Subsequently, she also worked at the Organization of American States in Washington.
