Safa Hammoud completed a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and is currently completing her Law degree at the University of Montreal. She holds the position of communications manager at Canada Research Chair in Collaborative Culture in Health Law and Policy. Ambitious and hardworking, she has also worked part-time, participated in the Communication Games, was an executive member of the student association and volunteered in the Saint-Laurent community. She has also completed three communications internships, including one at a law firm in La Prairie. Always looking for new knowledge and rewarding experiences, Safa pursued a summer program at the Universidad de Costa Rica after completing her first year in law. She was able to learn more about the right to water and the waters right and compare different legal systems. Safa has distinguished herself by the excellence of her academic record eight times, including being recognized twice on the Dean’s list.
In addition to her academic achievement, she has worked for seven summers at Saint-Laurent borough, where she has now held the position of aquatic manager for three years. Throughout her education and professional experience, Safa has clearly demonstrated perseverance, leadership and reliability in all that she does.
